All that we are and all that we have belongs to the LORD. Our ministry flows from God and all glory belongs not to us, not to us, but to His name, for the sake of His steadfast love and faithfulness.
Our Mission: Loving Our Neighbors
We share the love of Christ with youth who live in the gaps between cultures as immigrants and refugees by building relationships through sport, teaching scripture, and providing discipleship focused counseling.
What We Do
We recognize the many challenges of navigating life in a new culture and context for immigrant and refugee youth. We come alongside their communities, not as superiors, but as guides to help bridge these confusing gaps in culture.
We connect with youth by engaging them in what they love. For many immigrant youth in Charlotte, this is soccer. With the Charlotte Urban Eagles we have seen the game of soccer is an incredible platform for building relationships, sharing the gospel with non-Christians and discipling the spiritually hungry.
The relationships formed on the soccer field give us opportunity to go deeper into God’s word off the field by engaging youth in Bible studies, discipleship and Biblical counseling. We strive to help youth see that God cares for them and that He is speaking to them through His word.
Our Mission Field
Most of our work is with middle school and high school students, but our aim is to help whole families see God’s gracious care and provision. While East Charlotte is our primary locational focus, we have connections with kids and families all over the greater Charlotte area.
Our Partnerships
We are incredibly grateful for Trey’s opportunity to coach and minister with the Charlotte Urban Eagles. We are also privileged to come alongside local like minded churches and ministries like Project 658, and SENT, as we each have meaningful overlap in God’s kingdom work in the Charlotte community. Whenever we can partner in ministry that helps our youth know more of Christ we are eager to do so. We are equally eager and hopeful that our neighborhood outreach, coaching, Bible studies, and counseling services will encourage and give back to these organizations as they continue to labor faithfully in the Gospel.
